This is Luvs newest diaper, "Pro Level" by which replaces the Triple Leakguards. Ultimately we found this to be the same diaper with a redesigned outer shell. Just like previous versions, each bag has 26 diapers for a reasonable 5 dollars or about 19 cents per change. Like their previous version, the new pro level diaper is hypoallergenic and does not have parabens or latex. Larger bags and boxes are available bringing the cost down to 15 cents per change.

The picture above shows caution information as well as ingredients used in making the diapers. Ingredients are: petrolatum, stearyl alcohol, aloe barbadensis leaf extract (also known as Aloe Vera). Contact information is also printed and the manufacturer can be reached at 1-888-665-3257. UPC is the same as Luvs Triple Leakguards 037000790198. Luvs are a Procter and Gamble brand diaper.

We reviewed a size three diaper which includes a weight range of 16 to 28 pounds. It has a baby powder like scent which is advertised as the “Luvs Scent” which is standard for this brand.

Detailed side view of diapers showing thickness
This is a very thin product when compared to other brands. Although thin, they have excellent absorbency ratings in both the time to absorb liquids, as well as keeping the top sheet dry after a wetting. We found that total absorbency was appropriate for its weight and it was able to absorb 35 times its weight under pressure. One of the few updates can be seen below. Orientation labels are now displayed on the front of the diaper and the new text colors are easier to read rather than the purple text on a purple background from the old design.

Another change made on the front is the size indicator. It is now a high contrast white number on a purple background making it easier to see at night. Much like other manufacturers (aka Huggies) buttons are used along the tape landing zone to indicate when a move to the new size should be made. When the sticky tab no longer covers the button the diaper is considered too small. This is only a hint for moving up to the next size; ultimately many factors go into a size change.

Another new addition includes phrases that can be found on the rear waistline. Currently they say "Crib Hair Don't Care" and "The Snuggle Is Real." Looking below you can see the triple leakguards channels that help spread fluid throughout the diaper. They have a reverse parentheses look )( as seen in the center of the picture. These help quickly pull moisture away from your baby's skin helping to stop diaper rash.
